Folk at Sunday Mills

The 315 home Folk at Sunday Mills development is another best in class co living scheme located in Earlsfield, London. Gamma was appointed to deliver the design, manufacture and installation of specialist joinery throughout the extensive amenity spaces, which form a key part of the co living experience within the development.

Our package covered a wide range of bespoke elements across the shared spaces, including large communal kitchens, private dining areas, integrated planters and extensive bespoke seating.

One of the more challenging elements involved developing bespoke seating around the radius of the exposed concrete structure. The joinery had to work around the existing building geometry while incorporating seating and integrated planters as part of the overall design. This required careful setting out and design development to make sure the finished joinery followed the structure correctly and achieved the intended finish.

The large shared kitchens and private dining spaces also required detailed coordination between the joinery, appliances, worktops, services and surrounding finishes. Our design team worked closely with the client and wider design team to develop these areas before progressing them through manufacture and installation.

With amenity spaces playing such an important role in modern co living developments, the quality and detailing of the joinery has a major impact on how these spaces look, feel and ultimately get used by residents.
