amma was appointed to deliver the labour only second fix carpentry package for this 536 bedroom student accommodation development, spread across three separate buildings of 16, 8 and 6 storeys.

Our scope included the installation of pre hung doorsets, architraves, skirting and window boards throughout the student bedrooms, corridors, communal areas and wider development.

With more than 500 bedrooms being delivered across three buildings, planning and coordination were a key part of the package. Our site teams worked closely with the principal contractor to manage labour across the different blocks and maintain progress as floors and areas were released.

The installation of the pre hung doorsets also required careful coordination to ensure the doors were correctly fitted, aligned and operating as intended while maintaining a consistent finish throughout the development.

The project is another example of Gamma’s experience delivering high volume carpentry packages within the student accommodation sector and our ability to manage large site teams across multiple buildings while working to demanding construction programmes.
