Moxy Hotel – London Docklands

Moxy London ExCeL is a 164 bedroom hotel located in London’s Royal Docks, close to ExCeL London and London City Airport.

Gamma was appointed to deliver the carpentry and joinery package across the development, carrying out works throughout the guestrooms and wider hotel areas as part of the delivery of this large scale hospitality scheme.

With 164 bedrooms to complete alongside works throughout the communal and back of house areas, the package required careful planning and coordination with the wider construction programme. Our site team worked closely with the principal contractor and surrounding trades, sequencing the works as areas became available and maintaining progress through the different stages of the project.

The repetitive nature of hotel construction also meant consistency was key. Our team had to maintain the same standard of workmanship from the first rooms through to the last, while working efficiently to meet the programme and the quality requirements of the Moxy brand.

The project adds to Gamma’s extensive experience within the hospitality sector and demonstrates our ability to provide the labour, management and site expertise required to deliver high volume carpentry and joinery packages across large hotel developments.
