Canalside – Yellow Phase

The Yellow Phase forms part of the wider Sheerwater Regeneration Programme, delivering 187 new homes as part of the ongoing transformation of the area.

Gamma was appointed to deliver the labour only second fix carpentry package across the development. Our scope included the installation of timber doorsets, skirting and window boards throughout the apartments and associated communal areas.

With 187 homes to complete, the package required careful planning of labour and sequencing to keep our works aligned with the wider construction programme. Our site team worked closely with the main contractor and surrounding trades, progressing through the development as apartments and areas became available.

The doorset installation formed a significant part of our works, with our teams responsible for ensuring the doors were correctly installed, aligned and finished, alongside the wider second fix carpentry package.

The Yellow Phase is another good example of Gamma’s experience delivering high volume carpentry packages across major residential developments and our ability to provide the site management and labour resources required to maintain quality and programme through to completion.
